Shimmering and sparkling textures create beguiling spells. However there is a fine line that divides whimsical magic from the disco queen effect. Unless you want to look like the latter, keep the glitter to the eye area and make sure you harmonize the colours of your dress with your eye shadow. Many of these textures come in loose powder form and it's best to start with the glitter--that way you can clean up any fallout before you apply your foundation (and avoid being all sparkly). If in doubt, go for the tried and true combination: glossy red lips with a hint of glitter on the eyelids in soft, metallic colours. For a full-on statement go all out with sparkling nail polish, rhinestone incrusted accessories and  sequined fabrics.

Pour éviter de tomber dans la surcharge, il vaut mieux garder les textures brillantes sur les paupières et bien assortir les couleurs aux vêtement que l'on porte. Puisque la plupart de ces produits sont sous forme de poudres; on commence par maquiller les yeux pour ensuite nettoyer les retombées avant d'appliquer le fond de teint. Dans le doute, choisir le combo lèvres rouges avec des couleurs dorées ou des teintes argentées sur les paupières. Pour un look complet, assortir d'accessoires en pierres du rhin, un vernis à ongle scintillant ou une tenue paillettée.
